The LGBTQ Resource Center opened in January 2007 on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale as a result of recommendations made in the 2005 “Provost’s Ad-hoc Committee on Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Transgender Issues” report. The offices are staffed by a half-time coordinator, graduate assistants, student workers, and volunteers.  Meet our current staff here! We are open during normal university business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed on SIU administrative holidays.
